(Seattle Area's Regional Event June 2 -8 at Skalitude)

Yea! We have 7 glorious days to celebrate, relax, dance, sun bake, have fun
and maybe even learn and share (awwww).

And that's where YOU come in... As on the Playa, you create the content
of Critical Massive and we are calling out for those who wish to hold or
lead *WORKSHOPS / PANELS / DISCUSSIONS. *


**Do you have a topic dear to your heart?
**Would you like to hold a talk, forum, skill share, clothing swap,
mud wrestling match or what not?
**Do you just like the sound of your own voice, or are a known 'shit starter'?


Then we need you!

We are open to all topics for all ages and interests, but here are some
ideas if you want to step up:

- *Hooping*
- *Belly Dancing*
- *Poi Spinning or Making*
- *Fire Workshop*
- *Ecstatic Dance*
- *Sustainable Communities* (How can we be a greener event?)
- *Camp Technology Transfer* ("Wow, how DID they build that
graywater/kitchen/shower system???)
- *Intentional **Community **Building* (dunno, but it sounds cool)
- *Sex & Drugs on the Playa:* Know your limits, stay safe, and define
your boundaries
- *The ART of Burning Man* (How to do large scale art & projects for
the playa)
- *Bringing the Art & Culture of Burning Man Home* (from the playa to
our neighborhoods)
- *Other Art workshops* (hands on crafty stuff)
- *Your Rights on the Playa* in regards to law enforcement
- *Relationship Navigation: Love Sex & Play on the playa*
- *Staying Healthy on the Playa*
- *Newbie Playa Brainstorm* (Need some handy and prepared VETS to
help our first timers in 2008 or those that want to brush up on their
lists and prep plans)
- *Costume Free For All Swap and/or Craft Meet* (need an organizer
for this!)
- *Northwest Burners Without Borders*
- *???? INSERT YOUR IDEA HERE*

*CAMPS - * Let me know about workshops or events or happenings that
you are planning hold at your Camp. We'll help you out w/resources etc
if possible, and publish it for you in our top secret first ever edition of a
CM whowhatwherewhywhen thingy.

*WORKSHOP GRANTS - Submission Deadline May 15th*
This year we have $1500 in grants from INW to bestow on workshops that
perhaps have higher costs. Submit your application for review and you could
receive $ for your workshop. Please note that this is intended to fund
innovative, intensive workshops or events that would not otherwise happen
without funding. For small expenses, we are assuming that presenters will
assume those costs. Also note that there will be some materials on hand for
you as well as resources like space, magic boards, microphones & amps,
electricity and so forth.

*Artist Tickets* – We do not provide COMP tickets for workshop presenters *so
you must already have a ticket or be planning to get one. You CAN however
submit for an discounted Artist Ticket along with this workshop application*

- Find space: either at your camp, or one of the many public areas
available to us at the site.
- Get the materials you need like amplification, tables, power etc.
- Schedule and publish your event to get a Critical Mass (pun intended)
- Generally help you get the workshop going
